Boston’s own Dutch Rebelle has dropped a hot new music video for “Mix It Up” off of her recently released “kiss kiss” EP. The rapper takes us to Miami, infusing the visuals for the track with colors as bright and vivid as her lyrics. The camera follows Dutch as she cruises the Miami streets, relaxes poolside and captures the nostalgic moment when she meets up with her family to chow down on some bomb homemade food. Afterwards, we see Dutch and her crew chilling on the beach, smoking and watching the sun set on the horizon. The track itself is trap inspired with some crisp hi hats and deep 808s- the personality behind the beat perfectly fits Dutch’s fiery flow. She blows off the haters and naysayers who don’t believe in her musical prowess and potential and tells ’em “y’all too broke to pay attention/ so my name you need not mention”.

Dutch has burst onto the music scene with an intensity that the East Coast hasn’t seen from a female rapper in a while. “kiss kiss” is the perfect EP for any new fans looking to get to know who Dutch Rebelle is as a musician. With her effortless lyrical flow, dope production and fusion of trap with some old school hip hop vibes, Dutch is taking the East Coast by storm. Check out the video for “Mix It Up” below.
