Tink Is Going To Be Your Next Favorite

KBX’s Bout To Blow series is focused on the artist that Killer Crew believes will have a break out year in 2015. These are the cats that are one hit away from jumping out of the blogosphere to your playlist of your local Hot or Power or hitting the main stage at your favorite music festival.

Nicki and Iggy may need to make room at the top. It took Timbaland one song that the producers Da Internz played and he was a fan of rapper/singer/songwriter, Tink instantly. He believes she is the next best thing and with songs like “M.E.N,” Produced by DJ Dahi, “Dont Tell Nobody,” Featuring Jeremiah or “Movin Bass,” with Jay-Z and Rick Ross, which she slays, we think so too. Around here we believe she like the 2015 version of Lauryn Hill. This 20 year old Chicago native is creating a buzz so heavy, that the anticipation for her upcoming album this year, is bound to make it a hit!

Tink or Trinity Home grew up singing in church at the ripe age of 7. Her dad, a sound engineer, also helped hone her craft by recording most of her own music at 15. She looked up to artists like Aaliyah and Missy Elliot, so it only seemed right for her to later be signed with Timbaland’s Mosley Music Group.

Tink is the around the way girl and as she says one that many can relate to. Her music delivers messages and tell stories. She doesn’t want to be the superficial female rapper, but just known as an real artist. With “Treat Me Like Somebody,” she has over 8 million views on YouTube which means she is no longer someone to know, but someone that is about to blow.

She is currently on some tour dates in:

Friday 23 January 2015
Fortune Sound Club, Vancouver, BC

Friday 30 and Saturday 31 January 2015
Jewel’s Catch One – Disco, Los Angeles, CA

Saturday 21 February 2015
Metro, Chicago, IL
