Editor’s note: Designed to tell you who The Killer Crew believes will be buzzing in the blogosphere in the coming year, KBX’s Bout To Know series is where you will learn about your next favorite artists. Bout To Know series continues with Boston, MA-based spitter Dutch ReBelle.

When it comes to Dutch ReBelle the team here at KBX gets a strong case of the “I told you so’s.” We called the young queen’s musical rise first. Dutch ReBelle sent for anybody who had a doubt about her this past year. Dutchie’s name has been buzzing in these streets for sometime, but 2014 was the year she consistently reminded the non-believers that she’s not here for cupcakes and other cute sh-t. With the September 2014 release of “ ReBelle Diaries” Dutch gave her fans a raw, open view of her life. With fourteen tracks or “pages” in her diary, she gave her fans a closer view on her personal life and upbringing. The Haiti born, Boston raised MC keeps a dope balance of badass, class and femininity with blunt, witty bars to match a calculated flow.

In 2014 she took her talents to various musical festivals, around the country including SXSW, NXNE, A3C, Boston Urban Musical Festival and even doing her own mini tour to NH, D.C, MA, TX and CT, called “Road Trippin”. That helped keep her city buzzing which resulted im the folks over at Boston magazine “The Improper Bostonian” giving her the August 2014 cover. In between expanding her fan base, Dutch dropped eye-catching visuals for four tracks off “ReBelle Diaries”. MTV Jams-premiered “Yen”, “Love is”, “Stop It” (Featuring Fred The Godson) and “Goddess”. Her hustle didn’t stop there. She was featured on MTV’s Rap Fix Live for “Women In Hip Hop.” where she was a bully with the freestyle bars in the cipher while gaining the recognition of the executive producer of the “Love & Hip Hop” franchise , Mona Scott-Young along with the MTV audience. Followed by winning  “Artist Of The Year” at the Boston Music Awards, leaving 2014 with a bang. With a year like that there is a very slim chance for you to still be unfamiliar with Dutch ReBelle. In fact, here at KillerBoomBox.Com we think 2015 will be the year the “Goddess” places her foot oh so elegantly on your neck.
