The interesting part of Hip Hop over the past few years is the generational tension that has built as the genre has mature. Old heads constantly will lament the sorry state of the culture. Younger cats talk about old heads who won’t evolve. But its joints like this that let us know that the kids are aight. Joey Bada$$ has a flow reminiscent of Illmatic era Nas and AZ on this one. Issue my late pass on this one cause he has been burning up the net with some heat. I will definitely be paying attention now.
