You probably haven’t heard much about Cormega’s lead singles off his upcoming album produced entirely by Large Professor called “Mega Philosophy”. That’s unfortunate because Mega’s lead single “Industry” is easily one of the most important and topical songs of 2014. In this current era of dumbed down media, clickbait posts and Rap songs that exist for little more reason than to be a delivery system for corporate advertisements, Cormega takes the record industry to task for suppressing music that would provide balance while instead pushing music that promotes negativity. His second single is the kinetic “Rap Basquiat” which proves Large Professor can still make bangers 25 years into his legendary production career.
