This track may end up being a personal favorite from Action Bronson’s catalog. Another reminder of how incredible the chemistry is between Bronson and Harry Fraud, the track also features the smooth vocals of singer Lauriana Mae, a welcome addition to the track. I’ve personally always been a sucker for these type of hooks, so that is why I like the track so much. Bronsolino comes correct on the verses as well, with lines such as “Dusk on the North Shore hash on my person, roll it to a snake then wrap it like a turban.” The imagery is on point.
“Compliments to the Chef” will appear on Peter Rosenberg’s upcoming mixtape,New York Renaissance, which is slated for release later this week. Expect a who’s who of emerging NYC hip-hop talent. Meanwhile, we still await Bronson’s much anticipated collaborative release with Fraud.
