Drake Shooting Video for “5 AM in Toronto”

Since winning his first Grammy for Best Rap Album and also revealing the title of his third LP, Nothing Was the Same, Drizzy season has officially begun. Shortly after premiering the video for “Started from the Bottom” on Grammy night, Drake followed up with the cryptic “5 AM in Toronto” that was released earlier this month. Now as a follow up to “Started From the Bottom,” the Toronto rapper is shooting a video for the Boi-1da produced track, “5 AM…”

According to his fan site, Word on Road, the video was mainly shot in Toronto with Drake surrounded by black lights and plenty of women. He threw the internet in a frenzy when he released the song that seemed to have taken subliminal jabs at naysayers, his placement on MTV’s controversial Hottest MCs list, the alleged club brawl between him and Chris Brown, and possibly fellow Canadian, The Weeknd, who the world has come to know because of him.

There’s still no confirmation of the song ending up on his third LP but for the die hard Drizzy fans, one can only hope.
