Rumors had been cirulating for weeks but apparently the ink is dry on Nicki Minaj’s new deal to join American Idol as a judge. She joins a panel that includes Randy Jackson and fellow newbies Mariah Carey, and Keith Urban and will be paid a reported 12 million. A Hip Hop star taking on such a role definitely could have a ripple affect. A fact that was not lost on Wiz Khalifa when asked about Minaj’s new job this Saturday by MTV. “Sky’s the limit. I could end up judging ‘America’s Got Talent,’ and I smoke pot, freely’”
