Industry icon Chris Lighty has passed away

Vibe Magazine is reporting that industry veteran Chris Lighty has passed away. The founder of Violator Management, home to artists such as 50 Cent, Diddy, Mariah Carey, Mýa, Diggy Simmons, Cormega, Ja Rule, Mobb Deep, LL Cool J, Nas and more. Lighty’s impact on the culture can’t be denied. The cause of death has not been confirmed at this time. As info comes in we will update.
